Safety & Community Guidelines
SEVN is built so you can meet real people without handing over your face, your name, or your location. Anonymity only works when everyone feels safe, so we hold the community to a clear standard and back it with real tools. This page explains the rules, how we enforce them, and how to keep yourself safe. SEVN is 18+ only.
1. Community guidelines — what's not allowed
You agree not to post, send, or share content — or behave in ways — that are:
- Sexual or explicit: nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit clips, photos, or messages.
- Harassing or hateful: bullying, threats, hate speech, or content that demeans people for who they are.
- Violent or dangerous: violence, gore, or anything that promotes self-harm or dangerous acts.
- Illegal or fraudulent: scams, spam, solicitation, selling, or anything that breaks the law or infringes others' rights.
- Involving minors: any content that sexualises, endangers, or exploits anyone under 18. This is a zero-tolerance area — see our Child Safety Standards.
- De-anonymising: attempting to identify, track, dox, or expose another user on or off SEVN.
2. How we keep SEVN safe
- Every post is moderated before anyone sees it. Each clip and photo — whether captured live in-app or picked from your gallery — is screened by automated moderation for unsafe content. Nothing reaches the feed until it passes.
- Report anyone, anywhere. You can report a user from a full-screen clip, an incoming invite, or a chat. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours.
- Ignore instantly. Ignoring a user removes their content from your view, cancels any invites between you, and closes any chat — both directions, immediately.
- Block and leave. Blocking stops all contact and hides you from each other across the app.
- Filter offensive language. Turn on Mask offensive words in Me to automatically hide profanity in topics, invites, and chats.
- Nothing lingers. Topics posts auto-delete 48 hours after posting. There's no archive to dig through.
3. What happens when you report
- We record the report and review the content and account against these guidelines.
- Violating content is removed and repeat or serious offenders are suspended or banned.
- We preserve evidence where the law requires it, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
- Your report is private — the person you reported is never told it was you.
4. Safety tips — meeting people the SEVN way
Anonymity protects you, but common sense still matters. A few habits that keep meeting people safe:
- Stay anonymous until you're ready. There's no rush to share your real name, photos, phone number, socials, or where you live. Share only when you genuinely trust the person.
- Keep the conversation in the app until you're comfortable. Moving to another platform too fast is a common tactic of scammers.
- Watch for red flags: anyone who pushes for money, gifts, or crypto; asks for intimate photos; love-bombs you; or pressures you to move off SEVN.
- Trust your gut. If something feels off, you don't owe anyone a reply — ignore, block, or report.
- Meeting in person? Meet in a public place, tell a friend where you'll be, arrange your own transport, and stay sober enough to leave whenever you want.
- Never send money to someone you've met online, however convincing the story.
- Protect your info. Don't share financial details, ID numbers, or passwords with anyone.
5. Report a concern
Report unsafe content or behaviour in the app (open the ⋯ menu on a clip, invite, or chat → Report), or email us at beautechai.hk@gmail.com. For anything involving a minor, contact us immediately; if someone is in immediate danger, call local emergency services.
